**Jeremiah 50:27** β€” *"Kill all her young bulls; let them go down to the slaughter. Woe to them, for their day has comeβ€”the time of their punishment."*

Babylon's strength was measured in bulls β€” symbols of military pride, economic power, institutional confidence. God names them specifically. Not the walls. Not the generals. The bulls. The very source of her boasting becomes the site of her reckoning.

Scripture reminds us that what we cultivate as strength, God sees with perfect clarity. Babylon did not collapse accidentally. The day of her punishment had been written long before her armies marched.

Walk with this: every institution, every empire, every system built apart from covenant faithfulness carries within it the seed of its own appointed hour.

The Shepherd of nations does not forget. He does not miscalculate. He does not arrive late.

Let us reflect on what we have placed our confidence in β€” and whether it is the kind that endures when the appointed day arrives.
