**Ezekiel 11:22** โ *"Then the cherubim, with the wheels beside them, spread their wings, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them."*
The glory is *moving*.
This is not a comfortable image โ it is a sobering one. The Shekinah, the very presence of God that had dwelt between the cherubim in the Temple, is now departing Jerusalem because of Israel's covenant unfaithfulness. The wheels turn. The wings spread. Holiness will not abide where it is persistently dishonored.
Scripture reminds us that God's presence is not a possession to be assumed โ it is a mercy to be stewarded. The Israelites had inherited the dwelling of God and treated it as a birthright rather than a gift.
Consider the spaces you tend โ your home, your community, your inner life. Presence follows faithfulness. Departure follows neglect.
Walk with reverence today, beloved. What we are given to steward, we are also capable of losing.
