**2 Corinthians 9:15** β€” *"Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!"*

Paul wrote this after three chapters of careful instruction on generous giving β€” percentages, cheerfulness, harvest principles. Then he stops mid-thought and erupts into pure doxology.

That word *indescribable* β€” *anekdiΔ“gΔ“tos* in Greek β€” appears nowhere else in the New Testament. Paul, the most precise theological mind of the first century, ran out of language.

He wasn't reaching for a clichΓ©. He was testifying to something that collapsed his categories.

The gift is Christ Himself β€” not doctrine about Him, not benefit from Him, but *Him*. Covenant made flesh. Mercy walking among us. The Shepherd who became the lamb.

Scripture reminds us that the proper response to grace this vast is not merely gratitude recited β€” it is a life rearranged around the One who gave it.

Consider the last time generosity silenced you completely.
