**Jeremiah 36:14** โ *"Then all the officials sent word to Baruch through Jehudi son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, saying, 'Bring the scroll that you read in the hearing of the people, and come here.' So Baruch son of Neriah took the scroll and went to them."*
Notice what Baruch carries into that room โ not his own words, but Jeremiah's. Not his own authority, but a borrowed scroll. He is a steward of another man's message, and that message belongs ultimately to God.
This is the posture of every faithful servant: to hold the Word carefully, to bring it where it is summoned, to let it speak for itself.
Baruch did not edit the scroll to soften the room. He did not leave it behind for safety. He simply went โ scroll in hand, covenant on the page.
Scripture reminds us that fidelity to the Word often costs something. Walk with that truth today.
