**1 Samuel 10:13** โ€” *"And when Saul had finished prophesying, he went up to the high place."*

One sentence. No fanfare. Saul moves from a genuine encounter with the Spirit of God โ€” transformed, prophesying among the prophets โ€” and simply *goes up to the high place.* Back to routine. Back to position.

This is the quiet danger Scripture warns us about: the sacred moment received, then shelved. The Spirit had marked Saul. The covenant was fresh. Yet the text offers no pause, no dwelling, no response of consecration.

Contrast this with Samuel, who *abided* in what God spoke โ€” who let encounter shape obedience over a lifetime.

Transformation is not the moment of prophesying. It is what we do when the moment ends โ€” whether we ascend toward God's purposes or simply ascend to reclaim our own place.

Walk with what the Spirit has done in you. Let the encounter cost you something.
