**Acts 9:32** โ€” *"As Peter traveled throughout the area, he went to visit the saints in Lydda."*

One sentence. No sermon recorded. No miracle yet. Just Peter, moving through the region, making his way to where God's people dwelled.

This is the pastoral work that rarely gets celebrated โ€” the showing up. The traveling to. The deliberate choice to go where the saints are and be present among them.

Peter didn't wait for the congregation to come to him. He went to Lydda. He sojourned toward the beloved. And it is precisely *in that movement* โ€” before anything dramatic unfolds โ€” that Luke marks it worthy of record.

Scripture reminds us that faithful shepherding often looks like unhurried presence rather than spectacular ministry. The visit itself was the ministry.

Consider the people in your life who need someone to simply travel toward them this week โ€” and what it might mean to be that person.
