**Deuteronomy 19:15** โ€” *"A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses."*

Before Israel condemned a man, God required corroboration. Not suspicion. Not rumor. Not the loudest voice in the room. Two or three witnesses โ€” covenant community holding one another accountable through *verified* truth.

Consider the pastoral weight of this: God built protection for the accused directly into the law. The standard wasn't efficiency. It was mercy guarded by rigor.

Paul echoes this in 2 Corinthians 13:1 and again in 1 Timothy 5:19 โ€” the principle carries forward, from Sinai into the church. God does not abandon due diligence when it becomes inconvenient.

We live in an age where a single voice can destroy a reputation before morning. Scripture reminds us that truth is patient enough to be tested.

Walk with that weight today โ€” the one who guards his tongue guards his neighbor's life.
