**Psalms 112:6** โ€” *"Surely he will never be shaken; the righteous man will be remembered forever."*

The Hebrew word here for *shaken* โ€” *mรดแนญ* โ€” carries the image of a tree uprooted in a storm. Not merely rattled. Uprooted. And yet the psalmist declares with covenant confidence: *surely not.*

This is not a promise built on personal strength or moral perfection. It is rooted in the character of God, who remembers. In Scripture, divine remembrance is never passive โ€” when God remembers Noah, the waters recede. When God remembers Hannah, a child is born. To be *remembered forever* by Him is to be held in the grip of an eternal covenant.

Walk with that today. The righteous are not those who never waver โ€” they are those whose foundation cannot be moved, because it is not their own.

Let us reflect on what it means to be *held* rather than simply *standing.*
