**1 Corinthians 10:24** โ€” *"No one should seek his own good, but the good of others."*

Paul wrote this to a church arguing over meat sacrificed to idols โ€” a conflict that sounds distant until you recognize it: two people, both convinced they are right, neither willing to yield for the sake of the other.

The issue was never really the meat. It was the posture of the heart.

To seek another's good above your own is not weakness โ€” it is the covenant shape of love itself, modeled by Christ who *"did not come to be served, but to serve"* (Matthew 20:28).

This is stewardship of relationship. We are not merely stewards of resources, but of one another.

Walk into your afternoon holding this: every choice to yield, to listen, to prefer another โ€” these are not small surrenders. They are acts of worship.

Let us reflect on whose good we are truly seeking today.
