**Daniel 10:13** โ€” *"However, the prince of the kingdom of Persia opposed me for twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia."*

Twenty-one days. Daniel had been fasting, praying, weeping โ€” and heaven was already in motion on day one. The angel's delay was not divine indifference. It was warfare.

Scripture reminds us that unanswered prayer is not absent prayer. There is a spiritual reality operating behind the visible one โ€” principalities, thrones, authorities โ€” and God's messengers move through it on our behalf. Daniel did not know the battle raging overhead. He simply remained faithful in the waiting.

Consider the posture of a shepherd who keeps watch through a long, quiet night. Nothing seems to move. Yet the flock is kept.

Your faithfulness in the silence is not wasted. The covenant God who sent Michael then has not grown still.

Walk with that assurance today.
