**Ezekiel 22:14** โ€” *"Will your courage endure or your hands be strong in the day I deal with you? I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will act."*

God does not negotiate His timing. He announces it.

Ezekiel spoke these words into a Jerusalem drunk on its own religious performance โ€” temple rituals intact, corruption flourishing beneath them. The LORD's indictment was not merely moral. It was structural: *your foundations will not hold the weight of what is coming.*

Courage that is self-manufactured crumbles under divine reckoning. Hands strengthened by self-reliance go slack when the Shepherd of Israel moves with purpose.

The invitation here is not to fear, but to honest inventory. What are you trusting to hold when the day of dealing arrives โ€” your resolve, your reputation, your record?

Scripture reminds us that only what is built in covenant with God survives His refining work. Proverbs 10:29 testifies: *"The way of the LORD is a refuge for the blameless."*

Walk with Him before the day demands it.
