**John 11:28** โ€” *"After Martha had said this, she went back and called her sister Mary aside to tell her, 'The Teacher is here and is asking for you.'"*

Notice what Martha does in grief: she becomes a messenger. She does not wait for Mary to find her way to Jesus โ€” she goes, she seeks, she whispers the most important news in the world into her sister's ear.

This is covenant love in motion. When sorrow has settled over someone you love, the most faithful thing you can do is carry the name of Jesus to them โ€” quietly, personally, close enough to be heard.

The Teacher is here. He is not distant from your household's pain. He is present, and He is asking for *you* โ€” not for your composure, not for your theology, but for *you*.

Let us reflect on who in our lives needs someone to walk across the room and say that name.
