**Nehemiah 7:54** — *"the descendants of Bazlith, the descendants of Mehida, the descendants of Harsha"*
Three names. No deeds recorded. No titles earned. Simply: *they were there.*
These were temple servants — the Nethinim — returning from Babylonian exile to rebuild what had been broken. Nehemiah counted them by name because God counts by name. Not by résumé. Not by rank.
Covenant faithfulness is often this quiet. You show up. You serve. You are numbered among those who returned when it would have been easier to stay comfortable in Babylon.
Scripture reminds us in Isaiah 43:1 — *"I have called you by name; you are Mine."* And in Luke 10:20, Christ anchors our worth not in what we accomplish, but in this: *"your names are written in heaven."*
