**Psalms 97:5** โ€” *"The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth."*

Sinai shook. Carmel trembled. The psalmist is not speaking in soft metaphor โ€” he is testifying to a God whose nearness undoes the most immovable things we know.

Consider the mountain in your own life. The circumstance that has stood unchanged for years, the stronghold that feels geological in its permanence. Scripture reminds us that what resists every human effort dissolves at His mere *presence* โ€” not His effort, not His striving. His presence alone.

This is the covenant reality of worship: we do not drag God toward our problems. We draw near to Him, and what cannot stand before holiness simply yields.

Elijah knew this at Horeb. Isaiah knew it in the temple. The ground shifts beneath what we call immovable when the Lord of *all* the earth draws close.

Walk with that truth today โ€” let it reshape what you call impossible.
