**Numbers 29:23** โ *"On the fourth day you are to present ten bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs a year old, all unblemished."*
The fourth day. Not the first, not the last โ the fourth. And still, the altar receives its full measure.
This is the rhythm of covenant faithfulness: not a single grand gesture, but an offering renewed day after day, with nothing withheld and nothing diminished. The count doesn't drop. The standard doesn't soften. Unblemished, still.
We live in a culture that front-loads devotion โ fervent at the start, fading by the fourth day, the fourth month, the fourth year. But the Lord's economy runs differently. Stewardship of the soul is cumulative, daily, sustained.
Hebrews 10:14 reminds us that by one perfect offering, Christ has made us whole โ and yet we are still called to present ourselves, day by day, as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1).
Let us reflect on what we are still offering on our fourth day.
