**Deuteronomy 15:4** โ€” *"There will be no poor among you, however, because the LORD will surely bless you in the land that the LORD your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance."*

Notice the structure here. The blessing is not a reward for individual ambition โ€” it flows *through* covenant community. The LORD's provision was designed to move person to person, household to household, so that none would be left uncovered.

This was not a prosperity promise whispered to one. It was a communal covenant โ€” contingent on Israel's faithfulness to release debts, open hands, and steward abundance toward the neighbor in need. See Deuteronomy 15:7โ€“8 alongside this verse, and the picture sharpens considerably.

The inheritance was never meant to be hoarded. It was meant to circulate like mercy.

Walk with that today โ€” and consider what it means to be both a recipient of God's inheritance and a steward of it toward someone who is still waiting.
