**Isaiah 37:13** โ *"Where are the kings of Hamath, Arpad, Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivvah?"*
The Assyrian messenger recites this list like a trophy case โ city after city that fell, king after king swallowed by empire. The taunt is calculated: *Your God will fail you the same way their gods failed them.*
But Hezekiah takes that very letter, spreads it before the Lord, and prays. By morning, 185,000 Assyrian soldiers lay dead. The trophy case becomes a testimony.
Scripture reminds us that the world keeps its own ledger โ cataloguing what has collapsed, what has been conquered, what appears beyond rescue. The enemy is fluent in statistics of defeat.
The covenant God, however, is not impressed by that ledger.
Walk with this today: every name on the enemy's list of *finished things* is still within reach of the One who answered Hezekiah in the night.
Let us reflect on what we have spread before Him โ and what we have not yet trusted Him with.
