**Leviticus 25:55** β *"For the Israelites are My servants. They are My servants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God."*
Notice the deliberate repetition: *My servantsβ¦ My servants.* This is not accidental. In Hebrew legal texts, repetition carries weight β it seals a claim. God is establishing ownership through covenant, not conquest. The Israelites were not free agents who stumbled into relationship with Him. They were *brought out* β actively, purposefully delivered β and that deliverance itself defined their identity.
This is the shape of belonging in Scripture. We do not serve to earn standing. We serve *from* standing already granted by a God who acted first.
The shepherd does not wait for the sheep to find their way home. He goes.
Walk with that today β the One who calls you servant has already paid the cost of that calling.
*Consider the grace embedded in being claimed.*
