**Deuteronomy 1:9** โ€” *"At that time I said to you, 'I cannot carry the burden for you alone.'"*

Moses โ€” the man who spoke face to face with God โ€” stood before Israel and admitted his limits.

This is not a confession of failure. It is a covenant act of wisdom.

Shared burden is not weakness distributed; it is strength multiplied. Moses had already witnessed what isolation in leadership produces โ€” exhaustion, blind spots, and a people left without the care they deserve. So he named it plainly and called others forward.

Scripture reminds us that God Himself designed the body โ€” the church, the household, the community โ€” to bear weight together. Consider the elders Moses appointed: ordinary people entrusted with extraordinary responsibility because one shepherd cannot reach every sheep.

Where you are carrying alone what was meant to be carried together, there is grace available โ€” and kindred souls ready to share the load.
