**Hosea 14:9** โ€” *"Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them. For the ways of the LORD are right, and the righteous walk in them โ€” but the rebellious stumble in them."*

The same path. Two entirely different outcomes.

Hosea closes his entire prophetic book with this observation โ€” not a command, but a covenant invitation. The road itself does not change. God's ways remain fixed, right, and good. What differs is the posture of the one walking.

The righteous walk in these ways and find footing. The rebellious encounter the same truth and stumble โ€” not because the path is crooked, but because resistance turns solid ground into an obstacle.

Wisdom here is not intellect. It is orientation. The discerning person *understands* โ€” the Hebrew *yฤแธ‡รฎn* suggests sustained, deliberate attention โ€” not a glance, but a gaze.

Walk with that kind of attention today, and let the rightness of His ways become the ground beneath your feet.
