**Psalm 102:19** โ€” *"For He looked down from the heights of His sanctuary; the LORD gazed out from heaven to earth."*

Picture the posture of that gaze. Not a glance. Not surveillance. The Hebrew carries the weight of *leaning forward* โ€” a Shepherd scanning the fold for the one who has wandered to the edge.

This verse was written by someone in anguish, bones burning, days fading like smoke. And yet โ€” the afflicted one knew: God's eye does not drift. His sanctuary is not a place of detachment. It is a throne of attentiveness.

When you feel unseen, consider the One who bends low from heaven's heights to fix His gaze on *this* earth, *this* moment, *this* life.

Scripture reminds us that the same LORD who governs the cosmos also counts the hairs on your head. That is not poetry for comfort โ€” that is covenant faithfulness on full display.

Let us abide in the mercy of that gaze.
