**Isaiah 32:2** โ *"Each will be like a shelter from the wind, a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in a dry land, like the shadow of a great rock in an arid land."*
The prophet Isaiah wrote these words to describe righteous leaders โ not angels, not kings in their glory, but *people* who carry the weight of others with faithfulness.
Consider the image: a great rock casting shadow in arid land. It does not move. It does not announce itself. It simply *abides* โ and the weary find rest beneath it.
This is what covenant faithfulness looks like in human form. A parent who stays steady when the household is in crisis. An elder who speaks truth without cruelty. A steward who holds the door open when the storm arrives.
You may be that rock for someone today โ not by striving, but by abiding in the One who is the Rock first.
Walk with that calling.
