**John 5:47** โ€” *"But since you do not believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say?"*

Jesus is speaking to religious leaders who carried the Torah scrolls under their arms and debated Moses in the synagogues โ€” yet missed the very One Moses pointed toward.

This is the danger of familiarity without faith. They knew the text. They did not trust the Author.

Scripture reminds us that belief is not merely intellectual acknowledgment โ€” it is a covenant posture of the whole person, moving from the page into the will, the walk, the daily surrender.

Moses wrote of a coming Shepherd. Jesus stood before them as that Shepherd. The gap between knowing and believing was not a lack of information โ€” it was a hardened heart.

Consider the scriptures you have read this week. Let them move past comprehension and into conviction โ€” where the Word dwells not in memory alone, but in how you abide.
