**Exodus 27:18** โ€” *"The entire courtyard shall be a hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide, with curtains of finely spun linen five cubits high, and with bronze bases."*

Precision matters to God.

These aren't decorative details buried in ancient text โ€” they are covenant specifications. The Lord did not say "build something suitable." He gave exact measurements, specific materials, deliberate proportions. Bronze for strength at the base. Finely spun linen for purity at the boundary.

The courtyard was the first threshold a worshiper crossed. God designed that threshold with care.

Scripture reminds us that how we structure our approach to the holy reflects what we believe about the Holy One. Careless worship reveals a small theology. Careful worship โ€” ordered, intentional, costly โ€” testifies to a God worth the precision.

Consider the spaces in your own life where you meet with God. Walk with the same intentionality the craftsmen of Israel were called to carry.

What we build around our worship reveals what we believe about the One we worship.
