**Exodus 10:4** โ€” *"But if you refuse to let My people go, I will bring locusts into your territory tomorrow."*

Pharaoh had already witnessed nine signs of divine authority โ€” water turned to blood, darkness thick enough to touch. Yet here, God extends the warning *one more time* before consequence arrives.

This is the covenant patience of a God who does not delight in judgment. He announces the locusts before He sends them. The warning *is* the mercy.

Consider the pattern: God rarely moves in silence. He speaks through prophets, through conscience, through circumstance โ€” giving space for repentance before the harvest is consumed.

The question for the steward of his own soul is not whether God has spoken, but whether we have grown too comfortable inside our refusal to hear.

Scripture reminds us that His warnings are not threats โ€” they are invitations dressed in urgency.

Let us reflect on what locusts we may still be able to turn away from today.
