**Mark 3:34** โ€” *"Looking at those seated in a circle around Him, He said, 'Here are My mother and My brothers!'"*

Jesus did not gesture toward Nazareth. He gestured toward a room of ordinary people who had drawn near to hear Him.

This moment carries weight that deserves careful attention. His kindred, by blood, stood *outside* โ€” uncertain of Him, perhaps concerned for Him. Yet those seated close, those who had chosen to dwell in His presence, received the covenant word of family.

Belonging in the Kingdom is not inherited. It is inhabited.

The circle Jesus drew that day was not closed โ€” it was *open to whoever sat down*. Shepherd and sheep, teacher and learner, the seeking and the found โ€” all welcomed into the same household by grace.

Scripture reminds us that what we draw near to shapes who we become. Walk with Him long enough, and you may find yourself already seated in that circle.
