**Acts 9:10** โ *"In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord spoke to him in a vision, 'Ananias!' 'Here I am, Lord,' he answered."*
Two words. That is the whole of Ananias's response.
No negotiation, no credential-checking, no demand for a fuller explanation before committing. Just *here I am* โ the ancient posture of Samuel, of Isaiah, now echoed in an ordinary disciple in Damascus whose name appears only three times in all of Scripture.
This is not the reply of someone with nothing to lose. Moments later, God will ask him to walk directly to the man who had been hunting believers to their death.
Availability is not the absence of fear. It is the willingness to be found by God before you know what He will ask.
Consider the posture of your own heart when the Lord calls your name โ and what it means to simply answer *present*.
