**Galatians 3:22** โ€” *"But the Scripture pronounces all things confined by sin, so that by faith in Jesus Christ the promise might be given to those who believe."*

Paul chose a striking word here โ€” *confined*. Not merely influenced. Not nudged toward wrongdoing. Confined. Like a cell with no exit of our own making.

This is not pessimism. This is precision.

The confinement Paul describes is the very architecture that makes grace necessary โ€” and therefore glorious. A prisoner who doesn't know the walls exist will never yearn for the door. But Scripture names the walls honestly, so that when Christ opens the way, we walk through it with full understanding of what we've been freed from.

The promise was never earned. It was given โ€” specifically, covenantally, to those who believe.

Walk with that today: the same Scripture that names your confinement also declares your release.
