**Matthew 20:32** โ€” *"Jesus stopped and called them. 'What do you want Me to do for you?' He asked."*

Two blind men are shouting from the roadside. The crowd rebukes them. Jesus keeps walking โ€” then stops.

That pause is worth dwelling on. The Son of God, on His way to Jerusalem and the cross, halts His steps for two men others considered a disturbance. He does not assume their need. He asks. He draws out their voice, their specific longing, their own words.

This is the Shepherd's posture: present, unhurried, attentive to the individual within the crowd.

So often we bring God a vague spiritual restlessness โ€” when He invites us to name the thing. Bartimaeus did not say *bless me generally.* He said *I want to see.*

Beloved, the mercy of Christ is not distant or distracted. He stops. He calls. He listens.

Walk with that today โ€” and let your prayer be honest enough to be specific.
