**Matthew 17:3** โ *"Suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared before them, talking with Jesus."*
Moses carried the Law. Elijah carried the prophetic fire. And here, on a mountain wrapped in cloud and light, both stand in conversation with the One they had only pointed toward.
Consider the weight of that moment: centuries of covenant promise, of sacrifice and proclamation, all converging on a single figure. The Law did not compete with Christ โ it arrived at Him. The prophets did not replace Him โ they testified of Him.
Peter wanted to build three shelters, to pause the moment, to contain what cannot be contained. But the Father's voice cut through: *"This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him."* (Matthew 17:5)
Moses and Elijah would depart. Jesus would remain.
What we have inherited is not a tradition pointing forward into uncertainty โ it is a covenant fulfilled, standing before us still.
Walk with that today.
