**1 Kings 10:9** โ€” *"Blessed be the LORD your God, who has delighted in you to set you on the throne of Israel. Because of the LORD's eternal love for Israel, He has made you king to carry out justice and righteousness."*

These words did not come from a prophet or a priest. They came from a foreign queen โ€” a ruler from Sheba โ€” who witnessed Solomon's wisdom and could not contain her testimony.

God's covenant love for Israel was so visible, so undeniable, that it moved a Gentile sovereign to bless the LORD by name.

Notice what she identified as the *purpose* of Solomon's elevation: not prestige, not power โ€” but justice and righteousness. Delight led to appointment. Appointment led to responsibility.

Walk with that today โ€” wherever God has placed you, the delight He takes in you is always tethered to the steward He is shaping you to become.

Let us reflect on who might be watching our lives and drawing closer to God because of them.
