**Deuteronomy 1:24** — *"They left and went up into the hill country, and came to the Valley of Eshcol and spied out the land."*

Caleb and Joshua walked the same valley as the ten fearful spies. They saw the same fortified cities, the same formidable inhabitants. What differed was the lens — one of fear, one of faith.
Scripture reminds us in Numbers 13:30 that Caleb *"silenced the people"* and said, *"We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it."*
