**Leviticus 6:13** — *"The fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it must not be extinguished."*

Consider the devotional life the same way. God initiates the fire — but we are called to tend it. Prayer, Scripture, obedience, worship: these are the morning wood laid on what He lit.
Neglect is not dramatic. It is simply the slow absence of tending.
By grace, the Spirit dwells within us as a living flame — and yet we are still invited into the sacred work of keeping that fire from growing cold.
