**Romans 14:4** โ€” *"Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand."*

There is a particular temptation among those who love Scripture well โ€” to appoint ourselves as the final word on another believer's walk. We see their pace, their method, their apparent weakness, and we render a verdict. Paul will not allow it.

The logic here is precise: a servant answers to his master, not to fellow servants. And the weight of this passage falls not on the warning, but on the promise โ€” *he will stand.* Not because he is strong, but because the Lord is able.

Consider the mercy folded into that single word: *able.* God does not merely permit standing โ€” He accomplishes it. The believer you have quietly written off may be the one the Lord is quietly upholding.

Let us steward our discernment with humility, and leave the verdict where it belongs โ€” with the Master.
