**Micah 7:16** โ€” *"Nations will see and be ashamed, deprived of all their might. They will put their hands over their mouths, and their ears will become deaf."*

Micah wrote this during a season when Israel had nearly forgotten what divine intervention looked like. Then God moved โ€” and the surrounding nations, who had mocked and measured strength by armies and alliances, went silent.

There is a specific kind of silence that only God can produce. Not the silence of defeat, but the silence of witness. Hands over mouths. Ears overwhelmed. Might, drained.

The steward who walks faithfully through seasons of apparent weakness carries something the nations cannot calculate: a covenant God who still acts on behalf of His beloved.

Human power announces itself. God's power silences the room.

Consider the moments in your own sojourn when God moved so precisely that no argument remained โ€” only stillness, only awe.

That stillness is its own testimony.
