**2 Chronicles 7:16** โ€” *"For I have now chosen and consecrated this temple so that My Name may be there forever. My eyes and My heart will be there for all time."*

Solomon had just finished seven years of labor โ€” cedar, stone, bronze, and gold โ€” and God's response wasn't applause for the architecture. It was a covenant of presence.

*My eyes. My heart. Forever.*

This is the God who does not consecrate buildings โ€” He consecrates dwelling places for His Name. The temple was never about timber and talent. It was about where God chose to abide.

And here is the weight of that: what God consecrates, He watches over with the full attention of His heart โ€” not glancing, not distant, but *fixed*.

Walk with that today. Whatever space you have surrendered to His Name โ€” your home, your work, your worship โ€” His eyes and heart remain there for all time.

That is not a promise for the ancient temple alone. That is covenant mercy, still standing.
