**Ezekiel 22:1** — *"Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,"*

The covenant word *came to me* implies arrival, not invasion. The prophet was not ambushed by God's voice; he was *found* by it.
Consider the steward who tends the field faithfully, even in silence. When the owner finally speaks, the steward does not scramble — he simply listens.
