**Matthew 9:32** โ€” *"As they were leaving, a demon-possessed man who was mute was brought to Jesus."*

Notice what this verse does not say: the man asked for help. He could not. Someone else carried him to the threshold of grace.

This is the quiet ministry of the faithful โ€” not preaching, not performing โ€” simply bringing the voiceless to the One who speaks wholeness into silence. The man's muteness was not a barrier to Christ's mercy. It was the very condition that moved others to act on his behalf.

Consider the people in your covenant community who cannot yet cry out. The grief-hollowed neighbor. The faith that has gone mute under weight of loss. The soul too weary to testify.

Scripture reminds us that proximity to Jesus is itself a form of intercession.

You may be someone's only path to that threshold โ€” and that is no small stewardship to carry.
