**Jeremiah 51:34** โ€” *"Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has devoured me; he has crushed me. He has set me aside like an empty vessel; he has swallowed me like a monster; he filled his belly with my delicacies and vomited me out."*

This is not metaphor softened for comfort. This is Judah's raw testimony โ€” the cry of a people consumed by empire, stripped of dignity, discarded like refuse.

And yet the covenant God who heard this cry did not look away.

Scripture reminds us that God receives the testimony of the emptied vessel. The one set aside, the one cast out โ€” these are precisely whom the Shepherd seeks. Babylon's appetite was never the final word over Judah, and no consuming force holds final authority over the beloved.

Walk with the knowledge that being emptied by the world does not disqualify you from being filled by grace.

Let us reflect on what God does with vessels the world has discarded.
