**2 Kings 19:15** โ€” *"O LORD, God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, You alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You made the heavens and the earth."*

Hezekiah received a letter threatening Jerusalem's destruction. He didn't strategize first โ€” he walked into the temple and spread that letter before the LORD.

Consider the posture here. Before a single word of petition, Hezekiah anchors his prayer in *who God is* โ€” sovereign over every earthly power, Creator of all that exists. The threat was real. The enemy was at the gate. Yet the prayer begins not with desperation, but with covenant declaration.

This is the pattern Scripture reminds us of: theology precedes petition. When we rehearse God's nature before naming our need, something shifts โ€” not in our circumstances, but in our standing before them.

Whatever letter you are holding today, there is One enthroned above it.

*Walk with that truth before you speak another word.*
