**Habakkuk 1:11** โ€” *"Then they sweep past like the wind and pass through. They are guilty; their own strength is their god."*

The Babylonian army had no altar, no covenant, no shepherd โ€” only momentum. Habakkuk watched them conquer nations and credit themselves. Their power became their worship.

This is the quiet danger for anyone who achieves without acknowledging the Giver. Proverbs 16:18 warns that pride precedes the fall, and Romans 1:25 grieves those who *"exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator."*

Strength is a gift. Skill is a steward's tool. When we sweep through our days attributing every victory to our own capacity, we have, without ceremony, placed ourselves on the throne.

The Babylonians did not last. Neither does any kingdom built on self-worship.

Walk with open hands today โ€” let what you carry remind you of the One who placed it there.
