**Psalm 107:7** โ *"He led them on a straight path to reach a city where they could live."*
The wandering in Psalm 107 was not metaphorical โ it was physical, desperate, and disorienting. These were people who had lost their bearings in the wilderness, their mouths dry, their strength failing (v. 5). And God's response was not a feeling. It was a path. A straight one. Toward a city with walls and wells and rest.
Notice what the psalmist does not say: that God explained the route, or that the travelers understood why they had wandered so long. He simply *led them*. The path came first. The understanding, often, comes later.
Beloved, the covenant faithfulness of God does not require your comprehension to function. He is a Shepherd who stewards your steps even when you cannot see two paces ahead.
Walk with that today โ and let the city He is building in you come into view.
