**Jonah 3:1** โ€” *"Then the word of the LORD came to Jonah a second time."*

A second time.

Not a footnote. Not a consolation prize. A sovereign recommissioning from the God who does not abandon His purposes โ€” or His people.

Jonah had fled. He had been swallowed, humbled, and deposited back on dry land smelling of the sea. And yet the covenant call came again, unchanged in its weight, renewed in its mercy.

This is the character of God: He does not revoke the calling when we fail it. He restores the steward to the post he abandoned.

Scripture reminds us that *"the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable"* (Romans 11:29). What He speaks over a life, He speaks with the full intention of completion.

Walk with that today โ€” the God who called you once has not grown silent. He speaks a second time.
