**Joshua 21:42** โ€” *"Each of these cities had its own surrounding pasturelands; this was true for all the cities."*

A quiet verse. Easy to skip. But consider the covenant care embedded here โ€” God did not settle the Levites into bare walls. He wrapped each city in open land, room for flocks to graze, for families to breathe.

No tribe was given a crowded inheritance. Every provision was *complete*.

This is the character of God's stewardship: not minimal, not reluctant, but sufficient to the edges. Psalm 23:1 echoes it โ€” *"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing."* And Philippians 4:19 confirms โ€” *"My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."*

Where you dwell today โ€” God has already considered the pastureland around it.

Let us reflect on the places we call bare, and allow Scripture to show us what surrounds them.
