**Ezekiel 13:7** โ€” *"Haven't you seen a false vision and spoken a lying divination when you proclaim, 'Thus declares the LORD,' even though I have not spoken?"*

God's rebuke here lands with surgical precision. These were not fringe heretics โ€” they were recognized prophets, wearing the garments of authority, speaking with confident cadence. And yet they had built their words on nothing.

The danger was not silence. It was *noise dressed as holiness.*

Scripture reminds us that stewarding God's name means holding it with trembling care โ€” not invoking it to validate what we already wanted to say. Jeremiah 23:16 warns of prophets who "speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD."

The antidote is not fewer words โ€” it is deeper abiding. John 15:4 calls us to dwell in Christ before we ever speak for Him.

Consider the weight of the words you carry today, and who truly authored them.
