**Job 36:17** โ€” *"But now you are laden with the judgment due the wicked; judgment and justice have seized you."*

Elihu speaks these words to a suffering Job โ€” not gently, but with surgical precision. He isn't describing Job's guilt so much as diagnosing a spiritual posture: the weight of unexamined accusation toward God had settled onto Job's shoulders like a yoke.

Scripture reminds us that justice is not merely what we receive โ€” it is what we carry when we resist the mercy being offered.

Job's story does not end in condemnation. It ends in restoration. But first, the weight had to be named.

There is a difference between suffering that refines and suffering we cling to as evidence against God's goodness. Elihu, flawed as his counsel was, pointed toward a truth: beloved, what we carry often reveals what we believe.

Walk with that today.
