**2 Chronicles 13:18** โ€” *"Thus the Israelites were subdued at that time, and the men of Judah prevailed because they relied on the LORD, the God of their fathers."*

Abijah's army was outnumbered two to one. The tactical odds were impossible. Yet the text does not credit strategy, superior weapons, or sheer courage โ€” it credits *reliance*. That single word carries the weight of the entire battle.

The Hebrew root here speaks of leaning with full body weight โ€” not a polite acknowledgment of God, but a complete transfer of trust. Judah did not consult the LORD and then proceed on their own terms. They *leaned in*, and the covenant God of their fathers responded.

Consider the places where you are presently outnumbered โ€” by doubt, by circumstance, by opposition that seems organized against you.

Prevailing rarely begins with greater strength. Scripture reminds us it begins with deeper reliance.

Walk with that truth today, beloved. Let it settle before you act.
