**Jeremiah 32:12** โ€” *"and I gave this deed to Baruch son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, in the sight of my cousin Hanamel and the witnesses who were signing the purchase agreement and all the Jews sitting in the courtyard of the guard."*

Jerusalem was under siege. Babylon's army encircled the city. And yet Jeremiah โ€” a prophet in prison โ€” purchased land, signed the deed, and handed it to Baruch before witnesses.

This is covenant faith made visible in paper and ink.

Jeremiah did not merely speak of God's promises. He staked silver on them. He called witnesses. He created a legal record of trust in a future he could not yet see.

Scripture reminds us that true faith leaves evidence โ€” not hidden in the heart alone, but testified before others in concrete, costly acts.

Walk with that thought today: what deed are you willing to sign in the courtyard of your own uncertainty.
