**Exodus 13:3** โ *"Remember this day, the day you came out of Egypt, out of the house of slavery; for the LORD brought you out of it by the strength of His hand."*
Moses did not say, *"Reflect on how far you've come."* He said *remember* โ a covenant word, an act of witness. The Hebrew *zakar* carries weight: to mark, to testify, to hold in active memory.
Israel was not invited to feel nostalgic. They were called to anchor their identity in a specific act of God โ dough still unleavened, sandals still on their feet, the Red Sea not yet crossed.
We carry our own unleavened moments: the diagnosis that turned, the door that closed before a worse one opened, the mercy that arrived before we thought to ask.
Scripture reminds us that the God who led Israel by the strength of His hand is the same God who walks with us still.
Let the memory of His faithfulness be your testimony today.
