**Exodus 4:19** — *"Now the LORD had said to Moses in Midian, 'Go back to Egypt, for all the men who wanted to kill you are dead.'"*
Moses had been a fugitive for forty years. The wilderness of Midian was not a retreat — it was exile. And yet, God's timing did not move when Moses felt ready. It moved when the covenant purpose was complete.
Notice what the LORD does not say: *"Moses, you've healed enough. You feel stronger now."* He speaks to the external obstacle — the threat is removed — and then calls him forward.
